Rajneesh Gurbani was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra on 28th of January 1993 and is around 25 years of age. He had completed most of the education in Mumbai where he in his early years had stayed with his family. Later on his family had to move back to Nagpur while Rajneesh continued to stay in Mumbai to complete his education.

He did not let his cricket love come in between his studies and later on managed to complete his Civil engineering from Mumbai itself. By qualification Rajneesh Gurbani is a civil engineer.

Debut Match

Rajneesh Gurbani made his debut when playing for Vidharbha Team against the Jharkhand team in 2016 October 27th to October 30th. The match was played at Wayabad for Ranji Trophy. He also made his debut on 10th December 2015 when playing the Vijay Hazare Trophy match. So far he has yet to make his debut for ODI, Test match and International Debut.

Career Status

  • First class – Gurbani in 2015 December played his first ever senor category match for Vidharbha. Later on he also played the First Class match for the same team
  • Ranji Trophy – In 2017-18 Gurbani proved his form by taking over 6 wickets in just 113 when playing the match against Himachal Pradesh State team. In the same season he took 5 wickets in just 38 when playing against Team Kerala.
  • In quarter finals – Rajneesh managed to beat the Karnataka team 5 for 94 and then again 7 for 68 in the semi finals. In his match against Delhi team in Indore stadium when the team lost 295 all out and Rajneesh took 3 wickets in just 3 balls. He was also one of the bowlers who had managed to make a hat trick in Ranji Trophy finals.

Career Records

  • Gurbani had marked his emergency at the time of playing Ranji Trophy 2017-18 season as a fast bowler. He was also marked as the second player for taking highest number of wickets in Ranji Trophy. In 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season Gurbani had created a history by taking 39 wickets.
  • In the first innings of the season Gurbani when playing against Delhi for the finals managed to take over 22 wickets creating his hat trick.
  • When playing his semi finals against Karnataka for Ranji trophy Rajneesh took over 12 wickets in 2017-18. He was also marked as one of the lead players who had advanced his team to reach the Ranji Trophy finals for the first time in history.
  • For the same match Rajneesh was also awarded with man of the match award when playing for Vidharbha team.

Future And IPL

Till date Rajneesh Gurbani has already proved his form and game play in the Ranji Trophy. He has already managed to collect attention of IPL scouts for the big events.
