Personal and Family Information
Anish Bhanwala born in Haryana- Sonipat is a native from Karnal District in Haryana. At the age of 15 he has managed to gain fame and represent the nation in CWGs events. To his credit he has already managed to gain a lot of popularity with the sports by participating in various shooting events.
In the 2018 CWGs he represented the nation for rapid fire pistol category along with numerous other events at Sydney, Brisbane, Suhi and Guadalaraja.
Ever since his childhood, Anish had the passion for shooting and so was attracted towards participating in the Pentathlon events. At earlier days he had also been representing the nation in the U-12 category in the events in 2013 championships.
His family did not hold any background with sports but his parents had always supported him for participating in these events. At the school level he was motivated by his father for participating in Karnal school events and so later on he shifted to Delhi for better practice. When searching the internet, not much information about his family is yet updated.
Career
- Anish began his career as a pro representing the nation in Suhi 2017 World championships. He participated in the events in the Junior category and won the Gold for the nation in ISSF events.
- Later on in 2017 Anish had also participated in the CWGs championships in Brisbane. In this events Anish had managed to win a silver Medal for the nation while placing in the 25m Rapid Fire men category.
- He had also participated for the 2018 World cup events for ISSF that were held at Sydney. In this event he managed to win Gold at the individual category while a Silver when participating in the team event. He was awarded with Silver for 25m Rapid Fire event for Junior men category.
- In recent 2018 CWGs Anish also managed to win the Gold medal in the Shooting events at the Gold Coast Australia under the training of Jaspal Rana, National coach.
Awards
His one of the most outstanding performance can be seen at the 2018 Toisa Mahindra Scorpio events when he was awarded with TOISA Mahendra Scorpio Awards for being one of the most prominent and new emerging Player for the year in 2018.
Future
Anish is just 15 years of age and presently has already proved his performance as the sports man. He represents the country for his category and has bought fame and name for his nation in the shooting events. With so many Gold’s and Silvers to his credits, it is obvious that he has a very promising future in the sport.
